I have taken my cars to Fort Washington Tire for years for service. Based on my experience, the owner(s) and front counter staff have been fair and honest in their assessment of my needed car repairs and related quotes. For example, in October 2020, I took my car to have the tire pressure sensor replaced. After the mechanic ran their diagnostics, the tire pressure sensor started working and Fort Washington Tire did not charge me for the service. Another auto mechanic could have charged me for a new tire pressure sensor that was not needed. And, I have not had any problems with my tire pressure sensor since leaving Fort Washington Tire.

I'm not in love with the first come first served business model but I really like this shop. I never feel like they're jacking up the prices because I'm a woman. They're respectful, patient and answer all my questions with detailed responses. My car overheated and I brought it in for repair. They diagnosed it, gave me a fair price, and kept me updated. When I came back after the repair because I was skeptical it was fixed, instead of acting offended or rude they rechecked my car and guaranteed there were no additional issues and if anything went wrong with their work they would make it right. My car has been running great. The whole experience gives me a new level of trust and respect for them and how they do business.
